We describe the case report of a 25-year-old female who presented with signs and symptoms of bowel obstruction status after laparoscopic treatment of an ectopic pregnancy performed 3 weeks earlier. The patient underwent laparoscopic lysis of adhesions and reduction of small bowel obstruction. This case report presents an atypical cause of postoperative bowel obstruction and reviews the current literature regarding laparoscopic surgery as an approach for treatment.

The chorionic bump, an irregular, convex bulge of the choriodecidual surface into the gestational sac (GS), is a recently described, uncommon abnormality of the 1st-trimester GS and is associated with a guarded prognosis for early pregnancy. The case of this 42-year-old female demonstrates a previously unreported relationship: a transvaginal sonographic finding of a chorionic bump associated with a spontaneous tubal ectopic pregnancy. This might support the hypothesis that the chorionic bump represents a small hematoma that bulges into the GS.

To evaluate a minimally invasive endosurgical system in birds, endoscopic orchidectomy and salpingohysterectomy were evaluated in 11 male and 14 female pigeons (Columba livia). Anesthesia was maintained by using isoflurane delivered by a pressure-cycle ventilator and produced good to excellent anesthesia during 96% of procedures. INTRODUCTION: Using iodine povidone in internal way may be responsible of severe adverse effects, sometimes causing death of the patients.
EXEGESE: A 36th years old woman, with a secondary sterility has benefitted of an uterine opacification by iodine povidone before a laparotomy and a salpingotomy. In post surgery she presented an anuric acute renal failure and a severe anaemia which have needed a transfusion. Outcome was favourable with a recuperation of diuresis and a full normalization of the renal function.
CONCLUSION: The authors recommend to respect the indications of iodine povidone.

OBJECTIVE: The Essure microinsert is a new U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved method of birth control. The objective of this study is to report our initial experience using hysterosalpingography (HSG) to assess its efficacy for permanent tubal occlusion.
CONCLUSION: The Essure microinsert produced tubal blockage in all patients. As this device may become more widely used, radiologists should be aware of the device's appearance and be able to assess device position and presence of tubal occlusion on HSG.

The debate on hydrosalpinx and impaired IVF outcome has mainly focused on the best treatment before IVF and on functional surgery as an alternative treatment. Transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy (THL) was evaluated in comparison with the already established chromolaparoscopy in the detection of tubal factors, adhesions as well as endometriosis. 43 infertile patients without previous pelvic operations and with an inconspicuous clinical examination were included in a prospective comparative study of THL and chromolaparoscopy.
