BACKGROUND: The introduction of transoral robotic surgery into routine management of patients is complex. It involves organisational, logistical and clinical challenges. Despite aggressive medical therapy, many patients with Crohn's disease require surgical intervention over time. After surgical resection, disease recurrence is common. Ileo-colonoscopy and the Rutgeerts score are commonly used for diagnosis and monitoring of post-operative endoscopic recurrence. BACKGROUND: Severe reflux after sleeve-gastrectomy (SG) often requires conversion to Roux-en-Y-Gastric Bypass (RYGB). We performed laparoscopic Ligamentum Teres Cardiopexy (LLTC) as an alternative operation.
MATERIALS & METHODS: Ten patients had LLTC between June 2019-June 2020. Pre-operative work-up included Barium swallow, upper endoscopy with pH monitoring. The percent excess body mass index (%EBMI) loss before LLTC was 70 ± 0.2%.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the strategy of malrotation of the midgut encountered during laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery.
METHODS: A 37 … rmed and Ladd bands were left intact.

We describe the results of cemented total hip replacement in 23 patients (23 hips) with active tuberculous arthritis of the hip with a mean follow-up of 4.7 years (4 to 7). From October 1997 to January 2006, we operated on 209 patients with port-access cardiac surgery. Transurethral prostatotomy (TUT) in 24 patients was compared with transurethral prostatectomy (TUR) in 25 patients in a prospective randomised trial.
