OBJECTIVE: Non-contrast computed tomography (CT) remains the gold standard for diagnosing ureteral stones, with excellent sensitivity and specificity. However, reliance on CT alone raises concerns regarding cumulative radiation exposure, particularly in recurrent stone formers. Clinical scoring systems such as CHOKAI, STONE, and modified STONE have been developed to provide practical bedside tools for diagnostic decision-making. Intussusception is rarely seen in adulthood but is commonly seen in the pediatric age group. Causes of intussusception in adults are commonly due to tumors and inflammatory diseases. Intussusception in adults accounts for less than 5% of intestinal obstruction. Colonic lipomas are usually asymptomatic and are mostly managed surgically with promising outcomes as seen in our case.
