Extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTL) is an extremely rare and an aggressive lymphoma. We report an interesting case of extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma in a middle-aged woman which mimicked erythema multiforme. The skin lesions of this case looked like erythema multiforme due to the tagetoid lesions and mucosal erosions. The two biopsies from her chest and scalp lesions were different. This article presents three cases of erythema multiforme (EM) major with predominant oral mucosal lesions. Two males, aged 28 and 10, and a 19-year-old woman came to the clinic with oral vesiculoerosive lesions consistent with a diagnosis of EM major. All three patients reported histories consistent with an initial oral herpetic infection. Management with topical and systemic steroids resolved the lesions successfully in all three cases. A 74-year-old Japanese man developed erythema multiforme on the inner aspect of his left elbow where ketoprofen-containing tape was applied and exposed to sunlight, and the eruption subsequently spread to the four limbs and trunk. Erythema multiforme is an inflammatory disorder of the skin that usually fades without sequelae. It is well known that after inflammatory events, hyper- or hypochromic spots can remain, especially in skin types III-VI, but achromia is very rare. We report a case of residual leukoderma after erythema multiforme.

Three cases of persistent erythema multiforme, two of unknown aetiology and one precipitated by influenza are reported. Lesions were widespread, mostly atypical in appearance and regressed in response to immunosuppressants (systemic steroids and/or azathioprine) or, in one case, to dapsone. UNLABELLED: 30 children treated between 1984-98 for erythema multiforme (versus SJS) in Department of Allergology at the Children's Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw. 25 children suffered from erythema multiforme minor and 5 suffered from Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. Before symptoms of the illness 13 children had been treated with antibiotics and 27 children demonstrated different symptoms of infections, mostly viral. We describe a patient diagnosed with lupus erythematosus (LE) who developed an acute generalized eruption characterized by erythema multiforme (EM)-like lesions. Biopsy specimen showed foci of vacuolar alteration at the dermo-epidermal junction and frequent necrotic keratinocytes. We report the case of a woman who after taking ampicillin and amoxicillin developed two severe cutaneous reactions with generalized erythema and maculopapular rash, which later turned into blisters with subsequent desquamation.
