INTRODUCTION: Chronic retinal necrosis encompasses severe occlusive retinal vasculitis, granular retinitis, and vitritis. This phenotype has been observed in patients with limited immune dysfunction, cytomegalovirus (CMV) uveitis, and negative serology for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

Tongue necrosis is a rare clinical finding because of its rich vascularisation. Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is the most frequent cause of it, and when present, it is usually one side affected. We describe a patient with several months of constitutional syndrome; during that period, she develops headache followed by tongue necrosis, which lead to clinical suspicion of GCA, later confirmed by a temporal artery biopsy. Before the biopsy, she was treated with corticosteroids. We discuss this illness and tongue necrosis as a rare manifestation to consider.

Purpose: To report sterile corneal necrosis as a severe and rare complication after Bowman Layer Transplantation (BTL). Isolated cecal necrosis (ICN) is a rare form of ischemic colitis that can mimic conditions such as appendicitis, malignancy, or diverticulitis. Most cases of ICN have been identified in patients with significant comorbidities that increase risk of vascular disease. Although Meckel's diverticulum (MD) is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract, its prevalence is approximately 2% in the general population. Lacrimal gland pleomorphic adenomas (LGPA) are benign mixed tumors. Giant cell arteritis (GCA) is a medium-to-large vessel vasculitis of the elderly. Common constitutional clinical features include headache, scalp tenderness, and jaw claudication. Severe unilateral or bilateral visual loss is the most feared ophthalmic complication of GCA. A 62-year-old man presented with left flank pain and hematuria four days after undergoing mesenteric artery balloon angioplasty and stent placement. Imaging revealed left renal infarction with associated papillary necrosis and a thrombus in the left collecting system causing acute renal obstruction. Complete obstruction was confirmed using MAG3 Renal Scan with Lasix. A nephrostomy tube was inserted under CT guidance by interventional radiology with complete resolution of obstruction and hematuria.

Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization TACE is an effective treatment for stage BCLC-B hepatocellular carcinoma (1). The development of skin lesions in the supraumbilical region is an unusual complication following this procedure. We report the case of an 80-year-old male with alcoholic liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension PHT (Child-Pugh A) and multifocal hepatocellular carcinoma. The patient had already undergone four radiofrequency ablations, one alcoholization procedure and four TACEs via femoral access.
