INTRODUCTION: Overlapping surgery (OS) refers to when an attending surgeon supervises two surgeries at the same time with noncritical portions of both surgeries occurring simultaneously. Limited literature reviewing OS exists in orthopaedics. Our goal is to provide insight into this practice across orthopaedic subspecialities to inform its future utilization.

STUDY DESIGN: A prospective, multicenter, open-label, single-arm, within-subject clinical investigation.
SETTING: Three tertiary referral clinical centers located in Melbourne, Sydney, and Hong Kong.
PATIENTS: Twenty-nine adult subjects, 24 with mixed hearing loss or conductive hearing loss and 5 with single-sided sensorineural deafness.

METHODS: Cases of inferior pedicle reduction mammaplasty performed at the breast unit, King Fahd Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, over the last 10 years were reviewed.
