We present a 36-year-old woman with small pelvis lipoma spreading to the gluteal region through the greater sciatic foramen. Resection of lipoma was performed via two accesses (lower median laparotomy and semilunar incision in the gluteal region). The tumor was the content of sciatic hernia that is extremely rare. Combination of surgical approaches can provide favorable outcomes in these patients.

Isolated pelvic pain caused by aortic dissection is a very uncommon clinical presentation. This life-threatening cardiovascular lesion needs prompt diagnosis and intervention to prevent rupture. We report the case of a 45-year-old woman with Marfan syndrome who presented to our gynecologic clinic with low abdominal pain. Bedside point-of-care ultrasound revealed the bilocular echo lucent cystic lesion indicating the dissection of common iliac artery in her pelvis.

Ureteroscopy is a commonly performed medical procedure to treat stones in the kidney and ureter using a ureteroscope. Throughout the procedure, saline is irrigated through the scope to aid visibility and wash-out debris from stone fragmentation. We present a case report of an unfortunate 67-year-old man. He developed symptoms of thromboembolic disease in the immediate post-operative period after nephroureterectomy with recurrent pulmonary embolism in spite of being on several different anticoagulation regimens. He was later found to have tumor thrombus in the pulmonary artery secondary to urothelial tumor extension.

Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of renal pelvis is a rare epithelial tumor with poor prognosis. It is postulated to arise from metaplastic glandular mucosa in response to chronic irritation, and comprises less than 0.3% of total renal pelvic tumors. We present this case of a tumor noted in a 45-year-old lady that was diagnosed as mucinous cystadenocarcinoma on histological examination after radical nephrectomy. The patient is remaining well over a follow-up of three months.
