PURPOSE: To report a case of cilioretinal artery occlusion with normal fluorescein angiography findings that was evaluated by electroretinography (ERG) and microperimetry.
METHODS: A 64-year-old-man presented with an oval paracentral scotoma in the temporal field of the left eye that became more evident after cataract surgery. Fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, ERG, multifocal ERG, and microperimetry were performed.

This study aimed to review the current literature exploring the utility of noninvasive ocular imaging for the diagnosis of peripheral artery disease (PAD). The validity and reliability of the use of photographs to assess active trachoma and scarring was studied in a village where the disease was hyperendemic. One hundred and thirty six subjects were graded clinically and had photographs taken of the upper tarsal plate. Agreement between the clinical grade in the field and the grade on the photograph was very good for follicular trachoma, severe trachoma, and scarring (kappa statistic values were 0.71, 0.74, and 0.73 respectively). In field studies photographic documentation of trachoma appears to be a valid and reliable approach.

OBJECTIVE: To compare image measurements of the retina produced by scanning laser ophthalmoscopy with those from red-free photographs (RFP) of the nerve fibre layer.
SUBJECTS: The left eyes of 23 subjects (10 normal, 7 glaucoma suspect and 6 glaucomatous) were included in this study.
