This study examined 58 sexually abused children referred for clinical psychological services in 1999 in Hong Kong and compared the characteristics and disclosure patterns between those with multiple incidents of abuse and those with single incident. The former group was more likely to have been abused by a family member, took a longer time to disclose, and was more often abused in contexts where the abusers had control and power. Thinking of beauty as a therapeutic possibility, offering artistic and cultural spaces to children in situations of psychological vulnerability: these are some of the elements that make up the "Vibrer l'art" project. Exposure to the beauty of the world, whether artistic or natural, has restorative powers, particularly for children who have experienced multiple traumas during their childhood. An immersion project in an artistic residency, focused on two objectives -prevention and care-, is offered to a group of children in the care of child welfare services.
