Ovarian pregnancy is a rare subtype of ectopic pregnancy, and its mechanisms have not been clarified. We report a case of ovarian pregnancy that supports a blastocyst migration mechanism. An infertile woman became pregnant after a single blastocyst transfer following in vitro fertilization during a fresh non-donor cycle. Transvaginal ultrasound revealed a gestational sac-like structure containing an active fetus that was located adjacent to the corpus luteum of the right ovary. BACKGROUND: Swyer syndrome (46XY complete gonadal dysgenesis) is an uncommonly encountered condition in our population. Gonadectomy is recommended upon diagnosis due to a significant risk of malignant transformation of the dysgenetic gonads, typically to dysgerminoma.
CASES: We present 3 cases of women who underwent gonadectomy following a diagnosis of Swyer syndrome. Two of these patients had dysgerminoma confirmed on histopathology. In particular we discuss the macroscopic appearance of the affected gonads and the further management of each case.

Tuberculosis (TB) is caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. It remains a public health concern especially in developing country. Pulmonary infection is the main presentation. However, genitourinary TB is common especially with the increase in Human Immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. Genitourinary TB is one of the most common causes of extrapulmonary tuberculosis which affects 12% patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. It is common in women less than 40 years of age and rarely occurs in post-menopausal. Therefore it is more likely to affect women in reproductive years leading to infertility.

Recent developments in the study of epithelial ovarian cancer have called into question the traditional views regarding the site of tumor initiation. We investigated the feasibility of linear salpingotomy with suturing for ampullary tubal pregnancy via single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS). Three patients underwent SILS between April and May 2010 at our hospital due to ampullary tubal pregnancy. Anatomically, the adnexa encompasses the region within the pelvis that includes the ovary, fallopian tube, round ligament, and structures arising from associated embryologic rests. The scope and spectrum of gynecologic pathology seen in this area is enormously diverse, and specific diagnoses are often elusive to conventionally-used imaging techniques such as ultrasound and CT. MRI has become an important tool in the evaluation of the adnexal mass because of its multiplanar capability and undersurpassed soft tissue contrast. From August, 1990 to May, 1991, all cases of tubal pregnancy presenting to King George V Hospital for Mothers and Infants were considered for laparoscopic salpingostomy.
