Binding studies with [3H]dexamethasone identified a class of binding sites on male rat liver microsomes. Bullous pemphigoid blister fluid (BP-BF) was examined for its effects on the density, morphology, and biological properties of eosinophils. Estrogen (ER), progesterone (PR), glucocorticoid (GR) and androgen (AR) receptors were assayed in tumor samples from 8 cases of male breast cancer (MBC) and 20 cases of male gynecomastia. We reported earlier that dephosphorylated nascent phi X174 viral strand DNA molecules were less extensively degraded from the 5' end by spleen exonuclease than were non-nascent molecules. T lymphocytic colony formation by peripheral lymphocytes separated by discontinuous albumin gradient centrifugation was evaluated in 8 patients with Philadelphia (Ph1)-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Colonies were obtained using a liquid-on-agar culture system recently introduced (PHA overlayer-leukocyte feeder layer assay) which has been shown to be simple and reliable. Measles is one of widely spread virus infections that is a major cause of deaths in some tropical areas. The measles virus is a member of the genus of Morbillivirus of the family of Paramyxoviridae. The virions contain six polypeptides, including one glycoprotein; two of them are surface proteins that possess hemagglutinating and hemolytic activities, one of them is polymerase. Replication of the measles virus is similar to that of other Paramyxoviruses.
