Cystic lesions of the prostate are rare and often asymptomatic. Medial cysts are conventionally divided into so-called Müllerian duct cysts and prostatic utricle cysts which seems rather questionable in light of recent studies. We report a case of a patient with a 10-year history of dysuria. Diagnostic imaging was performed using 3 T prostate MRI with a body coil. Because of the potential risk of retrograde ejaculation with subsequent infertility and of incontinence by the transurethral resection, the interventional therapy of his utricle cyst was abandoned.

Duplication of the bladder is a rare congenital anomaly with an unknown embryological basis. A 12-year-old boy with dysuria was found to have a tri-radiate external urethral meatus instead of a vertical slit. Cystourethroscopy revealed two bladders with bifid proximal urethra. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed duplication of colon and bladder. He did not have any symptoms related to the urinary tract.

A rare case of giant bladder calculus presenting with vesicocutaneous fistula is described. A 62-year-old woman presented with dysuria and ulcer of the hypogastric wall. Urine drained through the ulcer. Both X-ray and computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen showed a giant bladder calculus with vesicocutaneous fistula. We performed cystolithotomy followed by closure of the fistula. The calculus measured 95 x 60 x 55 mm and weighed 350 g. Worldwide, it is the second reported case of vesicocutaneous fistula caused by giant bladder calculus.

Uroliths are uncommon findings in rats. This report describes a case of a neutered male rat with dysuria due to an infectious cystitis as well as an urolith of the urinary bladder consisting of struvite and whewellit. Following cystotomy as well as treatment with antibiotics and analgetics the rat recovered rapidly.

We report a case of dorsal blind-ending urethral duplicity in a 37-year-old male who presented dysuria and occasional mucopurulent discharge. The presumptive diagnosis was made on the findings at physical examination and was corroborated by retrograde urethrography. The patient was treated conservatively because the symptoms were minimal.
