We present the particular clinical and histological features of a metastatic high-grade myxofibrosarcoma (MFS) of the left buttock in a 77-year-old male patient. The tumor was biopsied and surgically removed in order to increase the patient's comfort, due to its increased size and aggressive clinical behavior. A case is reported, the 33rd to be published in the literature, of malignant retroperitoneal xanthogranuloma. The tumor involved 2 cm of the right ureter at the junction between the middle and upper thirds. The middle third of the ureter was removed and ureteral continuity established by end to end ureteral anastomosis. The patient died fourteen months later probably from metastases, though the presence of these was not confirmed.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a fibroblastic mesenchymal neoplasm that rarely metastasizes. SFTs was first described in relation to pleura. However, occurrence of this tumor type has been reported in other sites like peritoneum, liver, adrenal gland, meninges and oral cavity. RATIONAL: Low-grade myofibroblastic sarcoma (LGMS) is an atypical type of tumor composed of myofibroblasts. LGMS in the femoral head neck junction is extremely rare and no case treated by hip arthroscopy was reported.
PATIENT CONCERNS: We reported a case of LGMS in the femoral head neck junction treated by hip arthroscopy. A 30-year-old female was admitted to our hospital with discomfort and pain after left hip sprained one year prior. Physical examination revealed swelling of the left hip and magnetic resonance images showed a soft tissue mass in the femoral head neck junction.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the diagnostic value of CT to primary hepatic sarcoma.
METHODS: The CT findings of 12 cases of primary hepatic sarcomas confirmed by operation and pathology, including leimyosarcoma, liposarcoma, and malignant fibrous histocytoma, 2 cases each, and angiosarcoma, carcinosarcoma, cystadenocarcinosarcoma, mesotheliosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, and malignant lymphoma, one case each, were analysed retrospectively.
