Unilateral (left) lung allotransplantation was performed on six monkeys (Macaca fascicularis). Intravenous infusion of prostaglandin E-1 into the donor and cooling of the graft by perfusing the pulmonary artery with modified Euro-Collins solution were used for lung preservation.
