OBJECTIVE: To investigate facet tropism and its role in development of lumbar isthmic spondylolisthesis (IS) in young men.
METHODS: From March 2013 to May 2016, bilateral facet joint angles were measured axially at L3-4, L4-5, and L5-S1 on lumbar computed tomography (CT) in 97 participants (46 patients with IS and 51 control subjects) 20-29 years old.
