INTRODUCTION: Congenital factor VII deficiency is a rare hemorrhagic disorder inherited in an autosomal recessive pattern. Surgical treatment with insufficient diathesis correction is burdened with high risk of bleeding complications. The aim of the study was evaluation of the surgical outcome in patients with congenital factor VII deficiency and assessment of the efficacy and safety of recombinant activated factor VII (rFVIIa) used for perioperative hemostatic coverage in our two schemas of substitutive therapy.

Chest wall tumors (CWT) are rarely seen in childhood and surgery constitutes a complementary part of the therapy. The early and late results of CWT resection and chest wall reconstruction were evaluated retrospectively. Cardiac cysthydatid is rare pathology and is seen in 0.5 to 2% of echinococcal infections. It is found in the left ventricle most frequently and then in the right ventricle. We present a case with a ruptured cysthydatid at the right atrium's interatrial septum and multiple cysthydatids localized at the outer surface of the left ventricle's apex, which necessitated a synchronized coronary revascularization with our diagnosis and surgical procedure modalities. Our patient was a 61-year-old man with complaints of fever, dyspnea, tachycardia and chest pain, which began 2 months before admittance.
