Frustrated Lewis pair chemistry has taken a steep development in the recent years. It offers possibilities of developing new variants of known reactions and of finding new chemical transformations. This is demonstrated and described by the recently developed FLP-formylborane chemistry, which has led to the formation of the unique (η2 -formylborane)FLP adducts and opened a way of preparing a genuine formylborane compound, which shows an interesting follow-up chemistry. The response to stress was compared for neurotic subjects and initial hypertension patients. The stress was simulated using Rosenzweig frustration method. The neurotic patients responded by profound psychological revision of the stress situation, complicated relationships of the inner reactions and their apparent manifestations. Hypertensive subjects had less profound emotions, their psychological responses were close to those of healthy subjects.

Methane is the simplest hydrocarbon, yet it exhibits an extraordinarily complicated series of crystal phases. Notably, the non-plastic phases have large unit cells with nearly, but not quite, cubic symmetry. The geminal frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) (F5 C2 )3 SnCH2 P(tBu)2 (2) was prepared by reacting (F5 C2 )3 SnCl with LiCH2 P(tBu)2 . It is neutral and contains an extremely electronegatively substituted, but relatively soft (hard-soft acid-base, HSAB) acidic tin function.
