BACKGROUND: Intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) is a live attenuated vaccine for tuberculosis. Intravesical BCG (iBCG) administration is a highly effective immunotherapy for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC).
