The health aspects of an accident involving nine men exposed to 4.1 GHz radio-frequency radiation (RFR) is described. Two were exposed to levels of 4.6 mW/cm2 for up to 90 minutes, which exceeds the current Australian standard of 1 mW/cm2, while the other seven were exposed to lower levels. OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty(UPPP) by using radio frequency plasma on obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) with velopharyngeal obstruction.
METHOD: Eighty-one cases that were diagnosed as OSAHS with Velopharyngeal obstruction were randomized into two groups, UPPP group and radio frequency plasma Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty group.
RESULT: Six months after operation, the effects in both groups were similar.
CONCLUSION: Radio frequency plasma Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty is safe, time saving, less hemorrhage with good effects.

Lateral neck radiographs performed to localize impacted fishbones have a low sensitivity. The differing radio-opacities of the bones of various fish species may be a reason for this. A cadaver head and neck and the rib bones of 10 species of fish were used in this study. This retrospective analysis focusses on the impact of therapy on perceived long-term post-cancer treatment function. A validated questionnaire including items and components for the assessment of communicative ability, quality of voice and swallowing was sent to 129 patients. Morphoea is a localized scleroderma. Since the 1990s, it is described as a complication after irradiation for breast cancer. This complication is unrecognized and underdiagnosed.
