Many dizzy patients, without a known organic cause, considered as having idiopathic dizziness, may have a psychiatric disorder. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) may result in a variety of cognitive, behavioural and physical impairments. Dizziness has been reported in up to 80% of cases within the first few days after injury.
