PURPOSE: The aims of the Advocate-BREAST project are to study and improve the breast cancer (BC) patient experience through education and patient-centered research.
METHODS: In December 2021, an electronic REDCap survey was circulated to 6,918 BC survivors (stage 0-4) enrolled in the Mayo Clinic Breast Disease Registry. The questionnaire asked about satisfaction with BC care delivery, and education and support receive(d) regarding BC linked concerns. Patients also ranked Quality Improvement (QI) proposals.

METHODS: A total of 149 patients undergoing hysteroscopy were randomly assigned to a ciprofol (Group C) or propofol group (Group P). All cases received intravenous sufentanil 0.1 µg/kg for analgesic preconditioning. Phthiriasis palpebrarum is a rare eyelid infestation caused by Phthirus pubis (pubic lice) that is often confused with other causes of blepharoconjunctivitis. A history of corneal irritation, photophobia and a need to self-pluck eyelashes may be the clue to the diagnosis. Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CDLS) is characterized by mental retardation, growth retardation, skeletal anomalies, and a characteristic facies. We examined 22 children with CDLS to ascertain the relative frequencies of oculofacial and ophthalmologic abnormalities. ANIMALS: A 2-month-old Italian Friesian calf with bilateral excessive tearing and corneal opacification was presented to the Visionvet Eye Clinic.
