Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare subtype of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma typically marked by an aggressive clinical course and a predilection for relapse. BACKGROUND: After the application of chest computed tomography (CT), ground glass opacity (GGO) was introduced as one of major accompanying findings of miliary tuberculosis (MT) in addition to miliary nodules. However, little is known about whether GGO is associated with the clinical manifestations and outcomes of MT. Therefore, the present study examined the clinical relevance of GGO in patients with MT.

Invasive cervical resorption is an external resorption that begins below the epithelial attachment. It is caused primarily by dental trauma, orthodontic treatment, or dental bleaching. This case report involved an invasive Class III cervical resorption resulting from trauma to the superior right central incisor. Root canal treatment was followed by surgical intervention. The resorptive defect was debrided, and part of the tooth was restored with resin-modified glass ionomer cement. Postoperative follow-up revealed complete healing and healthy gingival attachment.

BACKGROUND: Synthetic, osteoconductive, and antimicrobial bioactive glass (BAG) has been used in many surgical applications.
METHODS: BAG was used as obliteration material in a series of osteoplastic frontal sinus operations on 42 patients suffering from chronic frontal sinusitis, which could not be cured with other means of treatment.
