INTRODUCTION: Transsexual phenomenon is very complex, which is confirmed in everyday practice with these patients. There are many reasons why we have chosen to present this patient's case report.

Malignancies, particularly Kaposi's sarcoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), are associated with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. We studied 1086 AIDS patients in the last six years. Of these 389 (35.82%) had neurological manifestation and 7 (1.8%) male patients had abnormal involuntary movements (parkinsonism in 3, hemichorea-hemiballism in 2, spinal myoclonus in 1 and rubral tremor in another). We present 3 homosexual male patients, with lesions confined to the rectum, produced by chlamydia trachomatis. The prevalence of hepatitis D virus (HDV) infection in patients with hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in the mid-United States is not well defined. BACKGROUND: Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in Thai women after breast cancer. Currently, the Papanicolaou (Pap) smear is the recommended procedure for cervical cancer screening in Thailand, but only a relatively small percentage of women follow this screening program. An alternative method to detect HPV genotypes associated with cervical cancer is self-sampling of urine, which is a more widely accepted method. Our study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of HPV in Thai women using urine and cervical swabs and prevalence of HPV in Thai men using urine samples.

BACKGROUND: In South America, little is known about sexual behavior and risk factors for acquiring sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) among travelers and among local people sexually interacting with travelers.
