PURPOSE: Intraosseous hemangioma of the mandible is a rare tumor. In this report, we present a case with a particularly prominent osteolysis and discuss the histological features of bone degradation.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: We describe a 64-year-old female patient with a cystic tumor mass of the mandible leading to pathologic bone fracture. X-ray analysis was suggestive for aneurysmatic bone cyst. A segment resection was performed.

To better understand risk factors for hydrocele as a consequence of Wuchereria bancrofti infection, 342 men more than 15 years of age in an endemic area in Papua New Guinea were evaluated. Twenty-eight women with postmenopausal bleeding were retrospectively studied to assess the accuracy of transvaginal sonography (TVS) and hysteroscopy for diagnosing endometrial pathology. The study included 1880 necropsies and 8,217 biopsies and surgical pieces seen at the Pathology Department of the Hospital Infantil de México from 1968 to 1977.
