BACKGROUND: Haemophilus influenzae is an uncommon cause of meningitis in adults.
METHODS: We analyzed episodes of community-acquired H. influenzae meningitis in adults included in a prospective nationwide cohort study in the Netherlands.
RESULTS: From 2006 to July 2018, 82 of 2272 (4%) bacterial meningitis episodes were caused by H. influenzae (mean annual incidence 0.5 patients per 1,000,000). Median age was 61 years (IQR 46-68), and 48 episodes (59%) occurred in woman. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to measure patient satisfaction with community pharmacy in Isfahan, Iran, in 2019.
METHODS: In this cross-sectional study (2019), we selected 104 pharmacies located in the second largest city of Iran (Isfahan) based on systematic random sampling and at least five clients at different times of a day who finished the process of obtaining medications from the pharmacies were randomly selected for a short and structured interview using the Persian version of the MacKeigan and Larson questionnaire for measuring patients' satisfaction with pharmacy services.

Anxiety is a common mental health problem among older persons, and the prevalence is higher in those who live alone than those who live with others. This study aimed to explore the experiences of anxiety in older persons living alone. A descriptive phenomenological approach was used to collect and analyze the interview data from 15 older persons (5 males, 10 females) living alone in Seoul, South Korea. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the relationship between the functional capacity of elderly community members and the sociodemographic and violence characteristics.
METHODS: Cross-sectional, epidemiological, analytical study with 159 elderly people. For data collection, a questionnaire was used for sociodemographic characterization; the Katz, Lawton and Brody scale; a questionnaire adapted from the FIBRA network; and the Conflict Tactics Scales, analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using Pearson's chi-square test, Fisher's exact test and multiple logistic regression models.
