Idiotypic (Id) vaccination has shown promising results in patients with follicular lymphoma (FL). However, it still remains unclear whether the same approach might be suitable for the treatment of other B-cell malignancies. Rituximab is a chimeric anti CD-20 monoclonal antibody containing human IgG1 kappa constant regions, with murine variable regions. Clinical, histological features and outcome of a cohort of patients with orbital and adnexal lymphoproliferative tumors were evaluated. Twenty-five cases in an oncologic referral center from 1995 to 2008, were included in the study. The aim of this study was retrospectively to assess the validity of the 2005 WHO-EORTC classification for primary cutaneous lymphomas (PCL) in a large cohort of patients of a single German skin cancer unit. BACKGROUND & AIMS: Celiac disease (CD) is associated with an increased risk of lymphoma. However, relatively few studies have assessed the outcome of patients diagnosed with both CD and lymphoma. We evaluated the temporal association between lymphoma and CD, along with clinical presentation, response to therapy, and prognosis.
METHODS: Patients diagnosed with both CD and lymphoma were identified retrospectively in a tertiary referral center. Clinical characteristics and survival were analyzed.
RESULTS: Sixty-three patients (36 men) were identified who had been diagnosed with lymphoma and CD.

The objective is to investigate the association between pathological type and clinical features, response to treatment and prognosis of primary gastrointestinal Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (PGINHL). The clinicopathologic features, response to treatment and survival of 124 patients with PGINHL, were investigated retrospectively. The intrathecal chemotherapy with methotrexate and cytarabine arabinoside is used for the treatment and prophylaxis of the primary central nervous system lymphoma. The therapy may induce neurotoxicity including the cauda equina syndrome. We report a case of a 58-year-old man with the diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, who developed the cauda equina syndrome after the administration of intrathecal methotrexate and cytarabine arabinoside, as diagnosed by the electrodiagnostic, urodynamic, and radiologic approaches.
