High resolution chromosome banding showed a male infant with profound mental retardation, hypertonia and multiple congenital anomalies to have the karyotype 46,XY,-der (2),t(2;12)(q37.3;q24.13)pat. Most of the clinical findings were compatible with those of the previously described cases with partial trisomy 12q. Some of the clinical features seem to disappear with increasing age.

Clinical and echocardiographic data from 12 patients with pulmonary valve endocarditis are described. Seven patients had isolated pulmonary endocarditis and in 5 patients other valves were infected (aortic, tricuspid, mitral or all 3). Premature spiral deviation of the penis was investigated in 1083 British breed beef bulls in 42 herds in Victoria (35) and Western Australia (7) by means of the serving capacity test. Dorsiflexion has been studied in three normal feet and in three feet with talipes equinovarus to determine the anatomical features which might contribute to the failure of operative treatment to correct the deformity. Regular monthly examination of a total of 422 donkey livers revealed Fasciola hepatica infection throughout most of the year, with an annual prevalence of 5.9% (range 0-20%). The monthly mean number of worms per animal varied from 0 to 6.4 (annual average 1.6). The computed tomographic CT findings in five patients with acute cholecystitis were analyzed. Common findings included thickening and nodularity of the gallbladder wall, cholelithiasis, and dilatation of the gallbladder lumen. Other more specific findings included poor definition of the gallbladder wall, pericholecystic fluid collections, and gas collections within the gallbladder wall. Most of the CT findings are suggestive but not pathognomonic, and correlation with the clinical, scintigraphic, and sonographic findings is necessary.
