The main classical morphologic features of the allergic diseases comprise fibrinoid necrosis, tissue eosinophilia, vasculitis, capsulitis and trabeculitis in the spleen (exceptionally also in the lymph nodes) and histiocytic granulomatous reaction. The greatest diagnostic value is attributed to capsulitis and trabeculitis in the spleen and further to vasculitis and fibrinoid necrosis. Dislocation remains one of the most common complications after revision total hip arthroplasty (THA). Twelve patients who had recurrent instability of the shoulder with onset after age 40 were reviewed. Eleven had anterior instability, and one had a posterior dislocation. The average age of the patients was 62.7 years. Symptoms began soon after initial injury.
