BACKGROUND: Primary lymphoma of the oral cavity is a rare phenomenon. Herein we describe a unique presentation of lymphoma of the tongue which initially manifested as trigeminal neuralgia.
CASE PRESENTATION: A 63-year-old female experienced a 10-month history of paresthesia and neuropathic pain involving the left tongue and mandibular area of her face. BACKGROUND: Pleomorphic dermal sarcoma is the cutaneous variant of undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma. It is a rare malignancy of unclear histogenesis; it is a diagnosis of exclusion that requires extensive use of immunohistochemistry to rule out other malignancies. Pleomorphic dermal sarcoma typically presents as a solitary tumor in sun-exposed areas and may have unpredictable clinical behavior, with some tumors associated with metastasis and death.

Langerhans cell sarcoma (LCS) is a rare but potentially life-threatening neoplastic condition. The diagnosis of LCS requires morphological and immunophenotypic characterization to distinguish it from other epithelioid-appearing malignancies. Patients who are already diagnosed with cutaneous melanoma are at increased risk of developing another primary melanoma. The occurrence of multiple primary melanoma is a rare phenomenon, varying in frequency, with an estimated incidence ranging from 0.2% to 8.6%. A 21-year-old woman presented with an intramedullary spinal cord germinoma and a history of gait disturbance and elimination disorder. INTRODUCTION: Squamous cell carcinoma ex-pleomorphic adenoma (CXAP) is a malignant and rare mixed tumor. We report a new case.
OBSERVATION: A seventy-year-old woman consulted for a mass in the left hemi-face having evolved over the last 20years. The physical examination revealed a hard and large tumor invading all the palate. Computed tomography revealed a heterogeneous 8.5cm long maxillary mass. The diagnosis of CXAP was made on a biopsy. A histological study confirmed the diagnosis after surgical resection of the tumor, specifying its noninvasive character.

OBJECTIVE: Double pituitary adenomas are extremely rare. They can be divided into contiguous and clearly separated types. Most contiguous tumours are surgically removed as one tumour and the co-existence of different adenoma types can be confirmed by histological methods. In contrast, detailed preoperative neuroimaging studies can suggest the co-existence of separated multiple adenomas. INTRODUCTION: Extraadrenal paragangliomas are exceptional tumors. They prevail the carotid, jugulotympanic, and vagal ones. They are frequently multiple and its treatment is controversial in view of the fact that bilateral removal can go with severe morbidity. Granular cell tumor is a benign neoplasm that is rarely seen in the breast and can mimic carcinoma, both clinically and by gross pathologic examination. The coexistence of a granular cell tumor with a primary mammary carcinoma can potentially pose diagnostic and therapeutic problems. In this report, we document a granular cell tumor of the breast coexisting with an ipsilateral infiltrating ductal carcinoma in a 74-year-old woman and discuss its clinical significance.

Sacrococcygeal teratomas and their malignant counterparts (germ cell tumors) are the most common solid tumors in neonates.
