The prolapse of a uterine tube is a rare event after hysterectomy with adnexal conservation. It is described in the literature after abdominal or vagina hysterectomy. We report two cases occurring after laparoscopic hysterectomy, and complicated by pyosalpingitis. Patients have presented with pelvic pain and vaginal discharge. Diagnosis was not easy, clinically suspected with the transvaginal ultrasonography, and confirmed by celioscopy. It may be helped by biopsy. The laparoscopic management was carried out without complications.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate tubal patency using hysterosalpingography after clinical treatment of tubal pregnancy.
METHOD: Of 80 patients who underwent hysterosalpingography after clinical treatment of tubal pregnancy from April 1994 to February 2002, 30 were treated with a single 50 mg/m(2) dose of methotrexate intramuscularly (n=30) and 50 were followed up expectantly.

INTRODUCTION: Ovarian-cyst torsion is often seen in early pregnancy due to progesterone stimulation. It is the fifth-most-common gynecological emergency, with a reported incidence of 3%. An ectopic pregnancy implanted in the ovary is rare, occurring in only 0.5-1% of such pregnancies.

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to elucidate the significance of psammoma bodies that are found incidentally during endometrial biopsy.
STUDY DESIGN: We reviewed the medical records of 11 women who were found to have psammoma bodies during endometrial biopsy over an 18-month period and extracted data that included demographic information, extent of evaluation, and pathologic findings.

The aim of this case report is to underline that the hydratic disease is still a healthcare problem in our country. Moreover, the atypical site of the cyst, as shown in the report, is a rare event and sometimes, an intraoperative or histological finding. Difficulties could arise from the operative management, during the radical procedures, to preserve some anatomic important structures. Modern imagistic data will certainly improve the preoperative diagnosis.

An apparently unique intramural uterine lesion is described for which we propose the name adenolipoleiomyoma. On gross examination, a well-circumscribed white intramural mass contained focal fatty areas. Histology showed the mass to be composed of smooth muscle, adipose tissue, and endometrial, endocervical, and tubal type glands. The endometrial glands were surrounded by typical endometrial stroma. OBJECTIVE: To assess the value of hysterosalpingography (HSG) in diagnosing tubal patency and peritubal adhesions.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: HSG was followed whenever possible by diagnostic laparoscopy with chromopertubation to give the final prognosis in cases of infertility.

A 38-year-old woman with extensive hemorrhagic endometriosis causing back pain, pelvic masses, and hydronephrosis also had a palpable omental mass composed of abundant endometrial-type stroma in which the epithelial component was entirely tubal type glandular cells; the stroma in this area did not bleed. This difference in bleeding behavior supports the concept that patterns of differentiation of heterotopic müllerian tissues may depend in part on the influence of local factors and that endometrial epithelium may produce a local trophic or paracrine factor that is absent in tubal epithelium.
