We report a case of a patient with a fistula between left ureter and abdominal aorta. The patient was a 84-year-old male who had undergone total cystectomy with a single stoma cutaneous ureterostomy for the treatment of transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder. Seventeen patients with either current (n = 14) or previous (n = 3) pelvic malignant disease underwent continent urinary diversion using the Mitrofanoff principle in 16 and a Kock pouch in 1. BACKGROUND: Biofilms pose a significant challenge in medical settings, leading to persistent infections. Phage therapy shows promise in biofilm eradication, but its effectiveness under dynamic flow conditions remains unclear.
METHODS: We used two novel phages isolated on Klebsiella, Llofrudd and Samara, and characterized their genomes, host range, virulence, and impact on biofilms.
