Immunoglobulin A nephropathy is a common glomerular disease associated with mucosal immune dysregulation. We report the case of a young woman diagnosed with biopsy-proven immunoglobulin A nephropathy who achieved sustained clinical remission following sequential tonsillectomy and appendectomy performed for standard clinical indications.
