We sought to establish if methylene homologues of artemisone are biologically more active and more stable than artemisone. The analogy is drawn with the conversion of natural O- and N-glycosides into more stable C-glycosides that may possess enhanced biological activities and stabilities. Nuclear pore complexes (NPCs) are embedded throughout the nuclear envelope of all eukaryotic cells and are composed of 30 unique proteins called nucleoporins (Nups). OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to analyze the DNA ploidy profile of pleomorphic adenoma (PA) using flow cytometry, with a particular focus on its malignant transformation.
STUDY DESIGN: Tissue samples were obtained from normal glands, primary and recurrent PA, and carcinoma ex PA (CXPA) (residual PA and malignant areas) for analysis. The data were analyzed using dedicated software and relevant increased literature resources.

SKP2 is the ubiquitin ligase subunit that targets p27(KIP1) (p27) for degradation. SKP2 is induced in the G(1)-S transit of the cell cycle, is frequently overexpressed in human cancer, and displays transformation activity in experimental models. In this study, we explored the in-vitro and in-vivo mechanism of antitumor action of a novel synthetic nonantibiotic triazolylpeptidyl penicillin derivative, named TAP7f, on B16-F0 murine melanoma cells.
