We report the case of a young Algerian female with a voluminous abdominal tumour suggestive of a hydatic cyst of the liver. Complementary examinations (radiography of adjacent organs, ultrasonography, coelio-mesenteric arteriography, hepatic scanning) revealed two additional abdominal cysts. Furthermore, gynaecologic examination and ultrasonography revealed one intra-uterine hydatic cyst. In 39 of 40 women who underwent hysterosalpingography following treatment, patency of the affected tube was observed.
CONCLUSIONS: Combined local and systemic methotrexate treatment for unruptured tubal pregnancy seems to be more effective than each therapeutic modality alone.

The effectiveness of selective tubal cannulation using a simple and inexpensive tubal insemination catheter was evaluated in 23 infertile patients with cornual obstruction demonstrated by hysterosalpingography. Personal experience of diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy of septate uterus is reported. The diagnosis of septate uterus is an integrated diagnosis that makes use of hysterosalpingography, echography, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. Of 545 hysteroscopies carried out between January and December 1993, 29 evidenced uterine septum, complete in 6 cases, incomplete in the remaining 23. In 30 patients with sterility problems, menstrual irregularities, and/or suspected tumor the uterine wall was evaluated by transvaginal hystero-contrast-sonography (CoSy).
