OBJECTIVE: To describe a rare complication in 5 women who had vaginal prolapse, dehiscence, and/or evisceration after having undergone robotic-assisted radical cystectomy with creation of ileal conduit urinary diversion. Radical cystectomy is the standard of care in the extirpative treatment for muscle invasive urothelial carcinoma. BACKGROUND: Platinum-based chemotherapy plus bevacizumab is the new standard of care in stage IVB cervical cancer (CC) patients. In this new scenario, radical surgery could be offered in selected cases with an optimal clinical response. Potential surgical complications related to previous bevacizumab treatment have never been described before in this type of setting.
METHODS: This is a single-institutional retrospective study on women with CC who received radical pelvic surgery after platinum-based chemotherapy (platinum-taxol) plus bevacizumab.

Owing to its anatomo-topographic features, ovarian carcinoma starts to disseminate at early stages. Views on surgical treatment are divided between radical removal of all metastatic tissues, and operation "within reasonable limits of safety". Volume of surgery is discussed on the basis of the available literature and our own data with due consideration of patterns of tumor dissemination and recurrence and a complex of intraperitoneal factors. Potential of nanotechnologies and, in particular, photodynamic therapy of relapsing canceromatosis of the peritoneum is discussed.

OBJECTIVE: To report a clinical case of bladder exstrophy adenocarcinoma.
METHODS: 57-year-old female presenting with a hypogastric mass. The biopsy of the mass revealed bladder adenocarcinoma. We performed radical cystectomy.
RESULTS: Pathologic study was compatible with moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma.
CONCLUSIONS: After six months of follow-up patient is disease-free.
