Total wrist arthroplasty remains controversial, with the few studies undertaken being heterogeneous and having low patient numbers. This prospective study involved 22 Universal 2™ total wrist prostheses implanted by the same surgeon between 2003 and 2017. There were 13 women and nine men with an average age of 56 (42-69.5) years. Sandblasting and acid etching are common procedures used to treat implant surfaces, enhancing osseointegration and improving clinical success rates. The rates of valve-related complications determine the clinical performance of biological and mechanical heart valve prostheses by valve position. The crude rates of valve-related complications within the first year after implantation have not been previously reported. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States guidance document for the performance of new heart valve prostheses uses objective performance criteria (OPC) as target values for valve-related complications. Six dental implants in six patients with periapical lesions were inserted and underwent trepanation and thorough curettage. During surgery, the lesion area was irrigated with copious natural saline and chlorhexidine and the bone defects were treated with tetracycline paste. Having multiple congenitally missing anterior teeth heavily influences the patient's countenance and pronunciation. There are few reports on the esthetic restoration of such situations with oral implants. This clinical case history report presents a multidisciplinary approach to treat a young woman with multiple congenitally missing anterior teeth using implant-supported prostheses. A study of 16 patients who underwent intralbugineous testicular implants during the practice of orchiectomy is presented. In 14 cases of prostatic carcinoma, after bilateral subcapsular orchiectomy intralbugineous prostheses were implanted and in 2 other cases of testicular torsion unilateral prosthesis was implanted. With this new, easily executed technique the size, mobility and testicular sensibility are maintained.
