BACKGROUND: The definition of T1b cutaneous melanoma was changed in the 8th edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system based on survival differences but not risk of sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastases. The incidence of metastases to the neck in testicular cancer is 4-15%, and in 5% of these cases the metastasis is the only symptom. We present a 57-year-old asymptomatic male, who had previously been treated for colon cancer. A routine PET-CT showed enlarged lymph nodes in the retroperitoneum and at the neck. The standard treatment for early cervical cancer of the uterus (CC) is radical hysterectomy with resection of the parametrium and pelvic lymphadenectomy.
