We compared apoptosis in eosinophils from bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL-Eos) with that in eosinophils from peripheral blood (PB-Eos) of 4 patients with chronic eosinophilic pneumonia (CEP). Electrocardiographic findings are analyzed out of a total of 80 exanguinotransfusion done in 70 newborns complaining of hyperbilirubinemia due to isoimmunization to Rh factor, to blood group, to subgroup and to liver enzymatic immaturity. Between 1964 and 1971, 49 patients were discharged from hospital following atrial baffle repair for transposition of the great arteries. Electrocardiograms of 47 of these patients were available for review seven months to eight and a half years (average 31 months) after operation. We investigate the impact of environmental factors and biological defects on the thermal properties of single-helical proteins by analyzing their electronic specific heat (ESH) at constant volume ( C v ).
