This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of intraperitoneal cisplatin and intravenous doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide in patients with uterine papillary serous carcinoma. Sixteen patients with uterine papillary serous carcinoma underwent complete surgical staging and placement of an intraperitoneal port. The single dose toxicity studies of montirelin hydrate (NS-3), a new drug for the treatment of disturbance of consciousness, were conducted in Slc:ddY mice, Slc:SD rats, and beagle dogs of both sexes. The pharmacokinetics of cytotoxin from Chinese cobra (Naja naja atra) venom was studied in rabbits after i.v. and i.m. injection of 0.2 and 0.5 mg.kg-1, respectively. We present our findings in 14 patients with a serologically verified diagnosis of ocular syphilis. Although most patients had iridocyclitis, other ocular findings included episcleritis, scleritis, vitritis, retinitis, papillitis, panuveitis, cystoid macular edema, and retinal detachment. The present study examined the impact of two methods of pain management on recovery in 38 women undergoing hysterectomy. One group received IV morphine in the recovery room and IM morphine on the ward on a PRN basis (PRN group). In the other group, a loading dose of morphine 8 mg IV was given when the patient first complained of pain and patient-controlled IV morphine (PCA) was initiated and continued for 48 h (PCA group). The effect of tibalosine (CP 804 S) on systolic blood pressure and heart rate of unanaesthetized normotensive, spontaneously hypertensive (SHR) and DOCA-salt and Goldblatt hypertensive rats has been examined.
