Orofacial amyloidosis is an extremely rare and generally a benign condition. In contrast to systemic amyloidosis, other organs are not involved; however, extensive investigations are recommended to intercept any systemic involvement. Diagnosis is confirmed by histological examination and Congo red staining. This condition does not have a known etiology, and hence no general consensus exists regarding its management. We are presenting a case of a 65-year-old female patient with orofacial amyloidosis having ocular and extensive oral involvement.

Paraneoplastic pemphigus (PNP) is a mucocutaneous disease that occurs in association with an underlying neoplasm. Oral mucosal lesions may be the only manifestation of this condition, or they may be observed in association with cutaneous lesions. The prognosis of PNP is generally poor, and the disease is often fatal. This article highlights an aggressive case of PNP that initially presented with oral mucosal lesions and emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach for evaluation and management of this condition.

Triple X syndrome (47,XXX) is a numerical chromosomal alteration that affects 1/1,000 women, in which the woman is born with an extra X chromosome. Some oral changes have been reported in the literature, as hypodontia, influence on deposition of crown enamel and discrepancies in cephalometric measurements. Other systemic complications may lead to oral abnormalities similar to those seen in triple X patients, such as congenital hypothyroidism (CH). This paper reports a triple X syndrome case associated with CH later treated. Besides delay in cognitive and intellectual development, the patient h
