BACKGROUND: Blistering distal dactylitis is a localised infection of the anterior pad of the distal phalanx of the digits. It most commonly affects children and uncommonly adults with a history of immunosuppression or trauma.
OBJECTIVE: A case of blistering distal dactylitis in a 32-year-old male is reported. The patient was not immunocompromised and did not report trauma.
CONCLUSION: Blistering distal dactylitis may rarely present in adults (including those who are not immunocompromised or reporting trauma) and thus should be in the differential diagnosis for an adult presenting with bullae

Pityriasis rosea is an acute self-limited inflammatory disorder of the skin. The initial clinical features of typical cases are the appearance of a herald patch. The herald patch is commonly located on the thigh, upper arm, trunk or neck; rarely the patch may be on the face, scalp or penis. There are no reports of a palmar herald patch in pityriasis rosea. In this article we present a 14-year-old male patient who had a palmar herald patch with truncal lesions of pityriasis rosea.

BACKGROUND: Pyogenic granuloma, also known as lobular capillary hemangioma, is a benign vascular skin tumor. Intravascular variant of this vascular tumor is rare and such a variant arising in another hemangioma is extremely unusual.

Five patients in the same family showed small keratotic plugs of the palmar creases. Transmission in lineage was consistent with an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance. The syndrome was highly associated with ichthyosis vulgaris in several members of the family. The histopathology in two patients revealed a close relation between the plugs and the acrosyringium.
