A uteroperitoneal fistula (UPF) is a rare disorder that can lead to infertility and has never been reported. UPFs can cause infertility and perinatal complications. A 34-year-old woman (gravida 0) with a history of three gynecological surgeries using a uterine manipulator was diagnosed with a UPF using hysteroscopy and hysterosalpingography. Fifty-nine women with early unruptured tubal pregnancy were treated by a single local injection of methotrexate at laparoscopy. All 59 patients underwent the procedure without any adverse reaction, 47 (80%) of them needing no laparotomy. Twelve patients required a laparotomy for reasons such as rising beta-hCG levels and abdominal pain with or without rising levels of beta-hCG. Only one patient ruptured the tube. Congenital uterine anomalies are well known to affect a woman's fertility and ability to deliver a viable infant. A retrospective chart review with recent follow-up was performed for 38 women who underwent a modified Tompkin's metroplasty. From a thorough evaluation of 66 couples with habitual abortion (HA), 42 were found to have a widened uterine isthmus at hysterosalpingography (HSG) as their only abnormality. HSG examination was performed on 363 female patients diagnosed because of infertility. In 258 (71.8%) women primary infertility was recognized and in 105 (28.9%) secondary infertility. Normal anatomical state of Fallopian tube was observed in 65 (77.4%) patients with primary infertility and only in 19 (22.6%) with secondary infertility. Abnormal results of examination were discovered in altogether 279 (76.9%) diagnosed patients. Taking into consideration Fallopian tube factor in secondary infertility, it was discovered in as many as 81.9% of cases.
