The effectiveness of continuous arterial infusion of Gabexate Mesilate (FOY-007) on experimental acute pancreatitis was investigated. Enhancement of the antitumor effects of adriamycin (ADR) by concomitant use of degradable starch microspheres (DSM) and pharmacokinetics of ADR in combination with DSM was investigated. Intracardiac repair in a 7-year-old girl with tetralogy of Fallot was hampered because of an anaphylactic reaction with cardiopulmonary collapse caused by porcine gut heparin. This patient had an extremely rare case of hypersensitivity to porcine gut heparin but not to bovine lung heparin. Uneventful radical operation could be performed with the use of bovine lung heparin for systemic heparinization during cardiopulmonary bypass.

This review examines the development of hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) of chemotherapy over the past 40 years. Liver metastases are mainly supplied by the hepatic artery, and high levels of intratumoral drug delivery are achievable with the use of HAI. OBJECTIVES: This study observes therapeutic efficacy of uterine artery embolization combined with MTX infusion which terminates cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP) and induces three factors which probably relate to failure.
