The activity of thyroid peroxidase (TPO) in primary dog thyroid cell cultures was measured by both guaiacol oxidation and iodide oxidation assays. Blood glutathione-peroxidase (GSH-Px) was determined in 61 healthy subjects and 506 patients with various skin disorders.
