We designed a peptide, H5WYG (GLFHAIAHFIHGGWHGLIHGWYG), that permeabilizes cell membrane at a slightly acidic pH but not at neutral pH. Fetuin-A is a major constituent of the fetal bovine serum used extensively in cell culture media.
