We report three cases of CAVB in preterm newborns managed using electro-stimulation with an external, followed by an internal pacemaker. We report a 45-year-old male with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) who experienced skin ulcers of the left lateral malleolus and dorsum of both feet. He had been treated with hydroxyurea (HU) for 2 years. His leg ulcers improved after HU was discontinued. The authors have conducted from November 20th 1992 to May 26th 1993 a study about the incidence of Strongyloidiasis in two pediatric units in Dakar.
