A sebaceous nevus is a congenital skin hamartoma caused by postzygotic HRAS or KRAS mosaic mutations. With age, affected individuals may develop secondary tumors within a sebaceous nevus. RAS mutations are harbored from the onset of sebaceous nevus, and further mutations can be expected to be required in order to explain the initiation of secondary tumors. We report a case of a blue-black nodule on the left upper eyelid of a 77-year-old woman. Dermoscopic examination of the lesion revealed a purple or purple-red homogenous opaque area like that often observed in apocrine gland cysts and a yellow-whitish homogenous structure with arborizing vessels. After resection of the tumor, a final diagnosis of collision of an apocrine gland cyst and a trichoblastoma was made. We should note the possibility that trichoblastoma may exhibit a yellow-whitish homogenous structure in dermoscopy.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Chromhidrosis is a rare condition of which there are only a few case reports in the literature. The aim of this study was to evaluate clinical, laboratory, and possible environmental factors in 13 patients with chromhidrosis to elucidate causative agents.

Multiple eccrine hidrocystoma (EH) has been treated with topical atropine with variable results. However, in rare cases, anticholinergic side effects have been seen after the use of the topical form of this drug. We presented a 50-year-old woman who developed recent onset of visual disturbance and photophobia from 2 weeks prior. The diagnosis of topical atropine-induced bilateral mydriasis was made. We reported a recognized but often overlooked case of bilateral mydriasis caused by application of topical 1% atropine for treatment of multiple EH.
