BACKGROUND: Fetal echocardiography is possible to confirm with great certainty the diagnosis, in utero, Ebstein's anomaly, as well as determine its perinatal prognosis.
OBJECTIVE: Review the experience of 16 cases diagnosed with Ebstein's anomaly, using fetal echocardiography, analyzing "forecast echocardiographic parameters" set by Pavlova, Huhta and Barre.
MATERIAL AND METHOD: retrospective and descriptive analysis. We analysed echocardiographic parameters and its correlation with the perinatal development of 16 cases diagnosed with Ebstein's anomaly.

INTRODUCTION: Congenital goiter is a rare condition which can be associated with both fetal hyper- and hypothyroidism. It may result from different situations in maternal-fetal thyroid function because antithyroid medication, iodine as well as stimulatory and inhibitory antibodies readily cross the placenta. PURPOSE: Complete ureteral obstruction (CUTO) in the fetal kidney induces tubular and glomerular cysts, interstitial fibrosis, and halts renal development. Forty children exposed to variable amounts of alcohol in utero and 40 control children were studied.
