BACKGROUND: Patients with adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) may have eyelid lymphoma, uveitis, or cytomegalovirus retinitis due to being immunocompromised. However, there have been few reports on the invasion of multiple ocular lesions. We treated 1 unusual ATL patient with uveitis in whom multiple ocular invasions were suspected.

AIMS: To study binocular function in patients with longstanding asymmetric keratoconus.
METHODS: In 20 adult patients with longstanding asymmetric keratoconus managed with a scleral contact lens a full clinical and orthoptic assessment was performed with and without the scleral contact lens in the poorer eye.

Keratoprosthesis (implantation of artificial, plastic cornea) is indicated in severe cases with corneal leucoma (non-transparent, cicatrized cornea) in which keratoplasty (corneal transplantation) is not possible or has repeatedly failed. BACKGROUND: We utilized videokeratography to determine the frequency of keratoconus suspects in a refractive surgery population, and compared the results of refractive keratotomy in these patients to those of patients with normal corneal topography.
