Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a disorder of unknown aetiology characterized by the left ventricular cavity enlargement and wall thinning associated with reduced left ventricular wall motion. OBJECTIVE: To determine whether sleep-related breathing disorders are common in patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Medical records of 53 patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension from a tertiary center neuroophthalmology practice were reviewed. Fifty-two cases of abdominal aortic aneurysms including common iliac aneurysms operated on during July, 1981 and December, 1989 have been studied.
